Click Based Healing with Innerspace & RDX

I'll be updating my innerspace thread with the full details later, but wanted to throw a little teaser out here... Since back in the days or raiding Molten Core the best damn unit frame mod I've ever seen (this is highly opinion based) is RDX. It allowed for things that no other mods did (at the time) and no other mods do as well (now). I've created a window that gives me 5 grid style unit frames that sit above my main toolbar (center screen, where i'm focusing most the time anyhow.) They sort identically on all 5 clients, and I've setup mouse bindings on these unit frames that handle all my healing needs (healing wave, lesser healing wave, riptide, earth shield, chain heal) on my resto shaman and made the buttons simply target on the elemental shamans.

The end goal is to have a workable healing solution that doesn't require me to be playing the healer. I tested this out last night by running a 75 dungeon with a 76 tank from my guild, the guys undergeared as he switched to prot just recently, but he is a top notch player. The end result was pretty solid, I'm still learning the interface (it's using G10 and G11 as left and right clicks with ctrl/alt/shift available as modifiers) but I am hoping to be doing heroics this way by the end of the week.

As I said the end results were quite livable, no wipes and no "near death" experiences, there was pleanty of healing going on as I had the tank pulling double packs to keep me on my toes. It takes some getting used to on the timing, because I've trained myself that the heal waits til AFTER the dps cast... but in this case they can cross...


Once I master this healing style my next task is to work round robin functionality into the G10/G11 keys such that I can run multiple healers in a single 10/25 man. I'll start with two and work my way up, but I think it shows some pretty solid potential.

I think i'm doing the same with using healbot and broadcasting mouseclicks with hkn (which also works realy nice and reliable).

At the moment i use a Pally for healing, so for me its mainly:
left-click: flasheal
right-click: bigger heal
shift + left-click : shield (form my priest)
shift + right-click: holy shock

I had something similar running with autohotkey and an always on top frame. The performance (speed) wasnt good. If you have completed the setup really love to see some innerspace code for this. I think it is almost time for me to start using this. Too many good options to pass up on.
