Multiboxing WOTLK PVP the end is near.

The golden age of pvp for boxers is over. Yes I declare it so! The new bg's are very anti boxer and cause nothing but frustration. SOTA is a giant cluster fuck for boxers. You start split up sometimes and then get wasted by cannons and vehicles. There is not much you can do within that bg besides do your best to defend something. Wintersgrasp is very similar except you can get some honor with the daily quest. Overall pvp is frustrating. World pvp can be fun at times. Unless your battlegroup still grinds av its going to be painful to grind honor. I dont know about you all but I am sick to death of wsg, ab, eots, and av. I was looking forward to a new bg. The changes they included really put a stop on our style of play.

Arena is going to be even more frustrating. I will be very surprised if a team can do well. Now some people are lucky enough to have guilds that run 25 & 10 mans with their boxed groups. Those guys have a leg up seeing how they can buy pvp gear with the marks from raiding. Despite that its going to be very tough to arena. At this point I am about ready to throw the towel in. My choices are to level my second group and pve heroics. Or cancel 4 accounts and play 1. I have even been thinking of stopping all accounts. The only reason I continue to play this game is because of multiboxing. Raiding is not an option because I work to much. PVp doesnt seem like an option anymore with all the latest changes. PVe solo vs heroics seems like a very boring option.

If you are having success please tell us the secret. SOTA is hell. Wintersgrasp is about the same. The other bgs dont even que most of the time.

1. You havent tried doing arena at ALL at 80, none of us have but still your able to tell us we have nearlo 0 chance?
2. Few classes can survive a burst due to the low amount of resillience in the game. I havent seen anyone survive my flameshock+lavaburst,Chain lightning combo.. (unless you try to burst down a DK with boneshield up)
3. There are changes comming and it will ALWAYS be unbalanced the first part of an expansion.

Calling people lucky cause they can do a 10 man instance? I will pug it since i bring both healers and a tank.. Im in a pvp guild and MAN they love people who is willing to tank.

YOU have to prove that your able to do the encounter then you will get invited over and over again, it works pretty much the same way if your playing 1 char.

Sorry if im beeing abit harsh but whats the problem with staying away from the things that your not good as a boxer? WSG,SOTA,vehicles?

Yes the guys who can raid with 25 or 10 mans in their guild are lucky. It gives them a leg up vs arena like I said above. It doesnt mean I am upset they have guilds that use them. I am actually happy there are some guilds that use boxers like that. My point was even though they will have a leg up with gear I feel arena is still going to be very hard to box. I agree if you can prove yourself to run an encounter people will take you again and again. However, trying to get a pug group to let you bring multiple characters is very very very hard to do.

I also agree to stay away from things that boxers are not good at. Again, that means SOTA which is pretty much the only BG queing right now. If I tried to stay away from SOTA or Wintersgrasp that means I will be waiting a long time for AV to que in order to get honor. Yesterday I kept checking on av and there was not even 1 game going the entire time I was online. So if I want to grind honor SOTA is the only option. I can do it but its very frustrating. The worse for me is starting split up or spawning split up from a death. Trying to get your group together in the middle of battle is tough. You end up not contributing much because you are constanly trying to move your guys around the battlefield.

I will keep plugging away and see how things turn out. This game is based on are you having fun. Right now boxing is 70% frustration 30% fun. Most of the frustration for me is due to the game mechanics that solo players dont see. It doesnt mean its hard it means its a pain in the ass. Overall the game is amazing if you consider solo play. I give bliz props for that.
