Unholy Tank build

Some of the following tallents are making me wonder.
Please chim in if you can shed some light on these. (like your experinces)

1. is toughness really worth it? i mean its only another 15%
2. Bladed armor @ 20k armor /180 *5 = 555 Ap.. Is it worth it or could the points be better spend somewhere elese?
3. Gargoyle A decent Runic power dump does nice dmg.
4. AMZ this bones any caster types that plus 4 grounding totems seems a bit op
5. Corpse Explode. Seems like with a little practice you could get some decent benefits out of this skill
6. Necrosis Im sorry this just seems worthless as crap (ya its extra dmg but there has to be something elese that would be better
7. Same for blood caked blade.
8. Night of the living dead. After playing around with Army of dead ya I cant see how this spell wouldnt be a must have its seriously AMAZING!

Well I'm not sure why you are passing over improved icy touch. It's an easy three points and since you will be spreading frost fever in any aoe situation a 6% attack speed drop across a pack has got to be really really nice. Reaping is a pretty nice talent as well. Maintaining a rotation is hard enough when boxing and anything that passively makes it easier to tag out an ability when you need it is always a plus. Toughness is another easy tanking bonus that you can pick up without working down a tree so I think it is worth it. Most of what I've seen on any tank build is a standard 5 toughness, 5 bladebarrier, 5 anticipation, 3 improved icy touch and then working on whatever tree you are going down. I'm not so sure about bladed armor myself..and necrosis/blood caked is nice I suppose since I know I have small breaks where I'm concentrating on something else and autoattack is running. It's probably not good enough to spec into though. Corpse explode sounds cool but I already have enough aoe options on my plate and adding another one would be rough on me so I put the points elsewhere.

Unholy tanking

Here is what I'm running right now and my next points will go into blood barrier then two handed specialization. The last five I'm not so sure about. I have desecration maxed out because I alwasy get in plaguestrikes and 5% more damage with practically 100% uptime with no extra work into a rotation is WIN in my book. The 3/3 in morbidity is sort of meh for me since although I love DnD for the huge hate I quite simply don't have problem keeping aggro and never seem to have the ruins to drop a second one during any given fight. I will probably spec out of it.

Anyhow that is my thoughs on unholy. And my first post here as well.

Let me explain

I went with the extra runic power talents because I feel like this is basically free damage for us to use that being said might as well be able to get as much as fast as possible.
I dropped Wandering plague (hope this is a good move) as literally nobody ever EVER picked up this talent. Though it sounds good on paper. im just not sure how well it will be over all
I picked up imp IT as you said before -6% atk speed across every mob is rather nice
I picked up the other "important tanking talents" Bladed armor and toughness
The Death and decay Should help with my threat
Had to dump a point out of my impuraty Again I hope this was a good move ill have to check on it @ a later date
Sadly I did have to drop Night of the dead. It just wasnt in the cards for me to have this skill Although the poor ghouls do get one hit REALLY quickly but its nice to have something elese take the agro for a breath or 3
Necro and Blood caked blade... Ya that shit sucks not worth it @ all.

To me it looks like a pretty solid build but then again its 3am here and im running on zero sleep. ill give it a shot tomorrow and see how it plays out.

So I'm up top in the Yeti cave in Hillsbrad to skill up my mining and there's a pair of alliance killing yetis in the bottom.

I explode a dead yeti and the allies start running around like headless chickens because they can't see me and haven't a clue what's going on! As soon as they calm down I do it again, anbd again, and again, and again...

Rofl ya thats about the ONLY use of this skill i think there is at the moment.
