Don't talk about Buying / Selling in game items in World of Warcraft here.

I know its against the rules

So you KNOWINGLY violate the rules..... this makes me wish we could "mute" or "/bitchslap" people.

So you setup a 2nd account and sell your gold (violation of TOS) from it... blizzard then says "gee, where does this account get the gold it sells..." and checks that you've traded gold to it from ONE multibox team...

lets say yer smart, and register the violating account under a pseudoname and use gamecards...

You still both get banned. I can confirm this because a good friend tried this scam. And I told him he would get banned, not just one, but all of them.
