Have your leader get in the vehicle.

Have everyone else stay out of the vehicle, but have them mount up and follow the leader.

Have the leader go around and do all the quest stuff and hope everyone else can get credit merely by being nearby (usually works).

Yes, 95% of vehicle quests I found let you simply stick the followers at the vicinity of the quest objectives and still complete them when the main does. Even easier once you have flying mounts. Hover over the area and profit.

the xxx tank in borean tundra is actually easy. you just need to bring your mobs back to the group, lay down the mines and they'll all die. do this until you get 100 mobs (i think its 100) and then have them follow as you rescue folks.

There was another thread on this issue.
For that thread, the quest required you to go somewhere which would be hostile for alts not also in the vehicle.
Killing your alts, and having them follow as ghosts resulted in quest credit.

Not the best option, but definitely a better one then doing a quest two, five or ten times.

honestly, i wished the tank quest was repeatable after completion (like the bombing one in HFP- think it was called Abyssal Shelf). i so want to go out there and kill more undeads after i turned it in, but alas... i'll have to wait for my chars to hit 68 to hit northrend again. lol
