I was Googling Archavon. came across this interesting find. Not sure if it was posted before. Here it is

This guy with a hybrid build 33/38 was doing close to 4k DPS. His gear was so-so. Wearing all elemental gears with 2 weapons. Spell power is boosted with talent Mental Dexterity + Mental Quickness. The first gives more AP with int. then AP turns into spell power with Mental Quickness. He's got like 2.5k spell power. Using Stormstrike to melee boss, he got a boost for Natural spell dmg for 20% for 12 seconds. His lightning bolt crits for 10k at some point. He did mention that this is a mana intensive build as it rather drains mana quickly.

I haven't got a chance to try this yet. But certainly worth a look in my opinion. I am doing an embarrassing 1400 DPS in heroics with full elemental spec -__-
