    Default 2. screen, size?

    Hi

I'm currently running 4 accounts on my laptop, which has a 1600x1200 screen. This gives them 800x600 each.

I'm going to be buying a new quad core system for those 4 accounts and need to get a monitor aswell.

I was looking at getting one that could do 1600x1200 too, but it seems it's a lot cheaper if I go with one that can do 1680 x 1050 instead.

Anyone have anything to say, positive or negative, about a setup with 4 clients on a 1680 x 1050?

If you are going for a Quad-core System it might be an idea to buy two monitors instead. This way you get a larger area to view your other characters. 1280x1024 on 17" monitors is perfect for viewing your characters.

    Aggree.
This is my setup for 4-boxing with two 22" screens @1680x1050 on a quadcore system. Main on right, alts on the left. I apologize for the bad image quality (cell phone camera).
    Works fine for me.
    Cheers, George

My bad, I am currently running my main on one PC and the 4 alts on a laptop, and I'll just be replacing the laptop.

I was mainly wondering if the 1680x1050 resolution was usable in a 2x2 grid with maximizer or if there were any problems.

Yeah, its definately usable, it might however be a bit small vertically, but If you find it to be good enough, great :-D
