So, voice commander works in sync with windows speech recognition, and doesn't seem to work when windows speech recognition is turned off. The problem I'm having is that the program "mishears" me, and activates random windows commands. I play in my living room, have a number of housemates that I'm always talking to as they come in and out, and I have music playing in the background most of the time. I don't have a headset, just the mic in my laptop. Is there any way to get voice recognition to *only* listen for my pre-selected wow commands (without a specific keypress to turn listening on and off) without activating any of the other windows commands? I've even had it mishear things like "close" and just exit out of the wow window all together. I wouldn't mind if it mixed up the commands with other wow commands, but I really don't want the windows commands activating on top of the wow ones. This seems like it must be a common problem, but I couldn't seem to find any solutions on the web or the forums.

Thanks so much for your help.
