I used my Arcane-spec'd mage to powerlevel my 5-shaman team to 70 in a month. I took a couple 3-day breaks, though cuz I was getting burnt out. 95% of that entire month was leveling in the Outlands. Pick-up quests KILL me as a multiboxer. I don't have the heart to skip *any* quests!Originally Posted by 'oMek',index.php?page=Thread&postID=155286#post155 286
Here's what I did:
Mage is on account "A".
I had shamans on accounts A, B, C, D, and E.
I took B, C, D, and E through dungeons with the mage, gaining 300% RAF experience.
Because the shaman on account A was behind in levels, I just granted all levels to him from account "B". (B->A)
The order I ran instances was: RFC-->SFK-->RFK-->SM-->ZF. I was gaining around 1.5 levels in the lower dungeons (per run), and it topped off at about 0.75 levels per run when I reached ZF. Then I started questing. The entire team was in their 50's in a few days.
My strategy on the mage specifically was using a down-ranked arcane explosion, running into everything I saw. Arcane explosion, arcane explosion, arcane explosion. Mana gems, pots, and heal the mage with the shamans.
Something I recall that sucked was going back to get all the shamans' totems (quests)! My main has always been the mage. I'd never played a shaman before. Those totem chain quests were a pain to look up!
