Default Opinions on which tank to add to my teams.

I'm running a mixed group with:
    -- Prot Pally
    -- Dream Druid
    -- Demo Warlock
    -- Shd Priest
    -- Fire/Arc Mage

I've also got two teams which would like to add tanks to them:
-- Elem. Shamans x5 (One shammy will drop from the team at 80th for PvE raiding, the remaining 4 will Arena and would like to do heroics with a tank).
-- Boom. Druids x4 (Also looking for a tank)

The only tanking toon I have at the moment is the Prot Pally. I'm looking to add two more tanks to my mix.
The pally is on the account which tanks for the mixed team, as well as the account which my raider will drop from... so she could tank for the mixed team or the shammy team.
I do not really mind where she tanks, but would prefer her to only tank for one of the teams.

Deathknights start at 55th, so it would be comparatively quick to add a DK to one of the teams.
Even with DK & Pally, I'm looking for another tank for the 3rd team.
I like the idea of a Feral for the boomkin team, for stealth runs.

Basically asking which tank you would use for each:

    1. Mixed team.
    2. Shaman team.
    3. Druid team.

Really, it's up to your play style. As you said, I would go for a druid tank for the boomkins, so you can 5x stealth.... I just started out with a feral druid tank, for my 3 locks and shadowpriest team, and it's been going great so far. Having a Rage system was weird getting used to (coming from paladin tanking) but now that Paladin tanking has changed, with the new Blessing of Sanctuary, paladin mana is no longer a detriment in long fights, whereas Druid tanks (and warrior tanks too) still have the issue of having to build up rage initially, rather than starting out with any (though some spells let you gain some pre fight, but it's still different). DKs as you said would be easier to try out. Level one to 60 and go through hellfire ramparts, and see how you do.

Also, you might not want 3 separate tanks, you'd end up with better and more gear for your tank if you use one on more than one team.

That being said, I will be doing a Paladin tank, DK tank and Feral Druid tank. Someday i will level up the rest of my druids, and make a boomkin team. Maybe make one a tree for holy trinity.
