How the hell do you kill the last boss Herald Volazj
in heroic mode. I get him to about 50% before he does insanity and then the shit hits the wall! I tried using a macro

/castrandom [harm, exists, nodead] lightning bolt, lava burst

/stopmacro [harm, exists, nodead]

/targetenemy

This macro worked for part of the time but my shamans are just damn good that they kill me too fast when they turn on me. Think the best attempt i got on him was to 27%. I couldn't get through the second insanity. Any Tips?

Well, I don't know if it's a bug/exploit or not, but it's mentioned in another thread in here, that you can los the Insanity.

If you see it as a exploit and want to avoid it, I think it's just a matter of gear and in a few upgrades you'll be able to do it. I've tried aswell, without any luck, I don't want to risk the los being an exploit!

Hmm, wow that sucks they are fixing it. I was hoping it would be intended - why else would there be a 2 min achievement kill O.o

It's pretty insane to fight, we'll see how that pans out.

There's always the option of letting your dps die during the first set of clones, letting your tank and healer beat the boss until the second set of clones appear, then ankhing and drinking while your tank and healer kill off their 2 clones

for the 2 minute achievement I think you're suppose to use mind numbing poison/curse of tongues or some other gimmicky spells to make his mindflay and insanity cast so slow that you can dps him hard enough and skip a wave of clones (67% to sub 32% or so) before he finishes casting

Yes the mirrors hit alot harder on heroic and got 12k hp :-)

Well if they are going to fix it, I need to farm it asap for tank bracer / mail gloves / achievement while I can. And healing doesn't work so well. by the time I get a heal off, Im worse than i was when i started casting. It's a hard event to say the least.
