    Default [WoW] Fear Regrouping

I'm only getting ready to set up a 2 or 3 toon set up. However, I'm curious with some of the setups I've seen. Mainly the 5 mans.

How do you cope with the fear scatter effect?

Say you have your toons together in some kind of pattern like this (and really, all of them will be much the same).

    Main
    C1 C2 C3 C4

Your main toon gets charged and feared (about the easiest way I could see anyone getting into range and getting off a fear) which scatters all your "C" toons having them run around in all directions.

I'm not sure if it'd work, but does the /follow command usually have enough of a range to get everyone back together?

If not, how do you get that straggler that may be *just* outside the range in time.

I'm sorta guessing in a "central" meeting point being that the masses would go meet up with the straggler while the straggler is going to the masses.

Something I just got curious about. Movement is about the only thing I'm trying to figure out how to get exact and somehwhat "fool proof".

Tremor totem spread in half a second increments x4 (or x5) FTW.

Otherwise, trinket and wotf is your only trump card as the above poster mentioned.

I'm glad I have a Shaman for that Tremor totem.

There are things that will break Fear.

    Equipment

    * Faction Insignia — All classes can break Fear once using [Insignia of the Alliance] or [Insignia of the Horde].
    * [Glimmering Mithril Insignia] — Blacksmith Trinket grants 30 seconds of fear immunity.

    Racial Traits or Class Abilities

    * Forsaken — Forsaken has a racial trait Will of the Forsaken which breaks fear and grants 5 seconds of fear immunity.
    * Hunter — Beast Mastery spec'd hunters may break fear with The Beast Within.
    * Mage — Frost mages may use Ice Block to break fear once.
    * Paladin — Paladins may use Divine Shield to break fear once.
    * Priest — Priests can use Fear Ward, which absorbs one 'charge' of Fear.
    * Shaman — Shamans may use Tremor Totem which can dispel fear or use Grounding Totem which can absorb fear.
    * Warlock — Warlocks with Felhunter may use Devour Magic to dispel fear on themselves.
    * Warrior — Warriors can break fear when in Berserker Stance with Berserker Rage and Recklessness. Fury Warrior can break fear with Death Wish in any stance.

    Other Notes

    * Paladins and Priests may dispell fear on their team-mates.
    * A high shadow resistance can also stop fear, or cause it to break early.
    * Taking damage increases the chance fear would break early.
    * As of 2.0, all crowd control effects (with the exception of Sap) have a chance each second to break earlier, and their duration is capped at 12 seconds. The chance increases with resistances and the level difference between the target and the caster.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,

Felhunter can devour magic allies too. Unless theres something specific to stop them from dispel fear from allies, I don't see why they can't.
