In my post I only tested the hotstring ability of keyclone. Meaning, I only pressed a non-modified key (1, 2, 3, etc. - no alt, ctrl, or shift) to call the hotstring to send the modified keys to my other machines.
Doing it that way I was able to verify that lshift and rshift worked from the hotstring perspective.
NOW, that being said - I did not try calling a hotstring with a modifier (ctrl-1, alt-2, etc.) it is possible this will firthur complicate things.
I bring this up because you mentioned having trouble with shift where I did not - jsut wanted to clarify what I was doing when I didn't have the shift problem.
