Haste Rating
Haste is a complex stat. Due to the fact that the highest damage spell, Lava Burst, is on an 8 second cooldown, adding an extra spell into that cooldown time has the potiential to push the LvB use back, wasting time and decreasing overall DPS. The trick here is to make sure that as little time as possible is wasted on using Lava Burst.

There are many spots in haste rating total where you actually get LESS dps. I couldn't find the stat comparison values on elitistjerks, but last time I looked haste was not terribly important compared to the other stats.

I have read similar things on ElitistJerks. With the +hit nerf to ToW, hit has become something that multiboxing shaman teams (and single boxing elemental shamans) will have to consider as a priority.

Given that there is no longer a +heal and everything is +spellpower would you say this gear would be ok for a Resto shaman in the team as well? I'm currently leveling up 4 shaman (3 ele - 1 resto) to catch up with my 60 DK and instance together from there.

Don't forget the naxx-25 gloves (arguably better or equal to the tier 7.5 gloves - and much easier to get than trying to raise wyrmrest reputation), and the tier 7.5 bracers that you can buy right away at 80. I always see auctions / general chat with people that are selling both items, so I'd imagine that they are pretty readily available.
