HeHe elo, considering that some of the hardest of the heroic PvE content (Satharion w/ 3 adds up by Nihilum-SKGaming) has now been cleared (until 3.1) I'd say WoTLK is a bit gimp relative to TBC when it was released. It looks like they went more towards starting WoTLK how TBC was post heroic nerfs. Not a bad idea for getting class balance right while people level and gear up easily before the next content patch hits. This way the harder content won't find certain classes pigeon holed into certain specs and other classes find themselves completely obsolete.
This may be optimistic -- it might just be that WoTLK is a downgrade in difficulty, with more of a focus on having more in game fun through other avenues. Considering most casuals didn't raid past Karazhan in TBC this might not be such a bad strategy for Blizz, but it would be really disappointing if they nerf end game content and still we see a small minority of players progressing past naxx ;(
