    Default Installing add-ons change?

Did Blizzard change they way you install addons? I'm extracting my zip files to the same old Addon folder in the World of Warcraft directory like I always have but when I go in game they aren't on the addon screen. Even more interesting is that I just tried deleting all the addons in my addon on folder but yet when I went in game all the addons are still there.

I'm sure its something simply that I'm overlooking, anyone got any ideas to share I'd appreciate it.

works the same for me, i just installed a few new addons about 2 hours ago. make sure you close wow after unzipping the addons, you have to restart the game for it to load them.

Hmm odd. I just figured out that I had another WoW directory in my Users directory that apparently the computer is using to run WoW instead of the one I've always used in my Program Files directory, huh  w/e..

Default I noticed the location of wow folder changed on friends comp

He had one folder in program files with the addons and 1 other thing and a new folder with a new full wow folder in the user spot on a his c drive so all addons he had where going to the wrong spot maybe check that. He was runing vista.I just deleted the wow folder with only the addons folder and sent the addon files to the new wow folder .

Vista uses the User directory rather than Program files..
