    Default Party1, Party2, etc...

I'm not sure what the correct command is, but something along the lines of [target=party1] or [target=party2]

Is the party1 the same toon for all 5 of my toons?

For example, if my pally is the leader then the following toons are shown in his list:

    Pally on top
    Shaman second
    O1 thrid
    O2 fourth
    O3 fifth

I'd assume that if the pally has a [target=party3] then it would target O1. Does the shaman also see [target=party3] as O1 or does the shaman have a different list?

Sorry for the confusing question, I've just never used this type of functionality before and I'm realizing that with 5-boxing my healer will have to have these types of macros.

To my knowledge there is no way to make party order consistent between multiple characters, aside from the party/raid leader

The way I do healing (I use 1x DK tank, 3x DK dps, 1x resto druid...I only use DKs as my leaders and never the druid) is to dedicate 5 keys for healing use only with statically defined targets. So each macro includes the targeting for the respective toon name with modifiers to control different abilities. Too keep all this intuitive and consistent I order my raid frames alphabetically (I use pitbull) so that the key order matches up with the display order of the health bars for all characters

    sample healing macro:

/castsequence [nomod, target=toona] reset=7 Rejuvenation, Lifebloom, Lifebloom, Lifebloom, Regrowth
    /cast [mod:alt, target=toona] Swiftmend
    /cast [mod:shift, target=toona] Nature's Swiftness
    /use [mod:shift] 13
    /cast [mod:shift, target=toona] Healing Touch
    /cast [mod:ctrl, target=toona,nodead,help] Regrowth
    /cast [mod:ctrl, target=toona,dead,help] Rebirth

Party1 is always the party leader, I use this for my /follow /assist macros (so if I swap out a leader, it all just works). But if you want to do healing macros etc, Party2 etc won't be consistent across all toons.

Party1 is always the party leader so for all members in the group, that is a constant.

I *believe* that party2 is always the toon itself (for the non-leader toons).

Party 3-5 is then the old reverse order of original creation date.

So, the net-net here is that the order is not constant for all five toons. That said, the group order if you use a consistent set of 5 toons will be the same everytime. So, I know what order my priest is in my group and code macro's accordingly so that I'm healing in "order" from my tank (party1) screen. For my shaman, I had to change the order a bit:

    Code:
Leader's Screen Priest PartyX Target Shaman PartyX Target
    Main Party1 Party1
    Priest Party2 Party3
    Shaman Party3 Party2
    Mage Party4 Party4
    Warlock Party5 Party5
80 Blood Elf Paladin, 80 Blood Elf Priest,80 Troll Mage, 80 Undead Warlock, 80 Tauren Druid, 80 Undead Rogue
    80 x4 Shaman (Orc x3, Troll)

Thanks for the help! Did I read this correctly and it depends on the character creation date? Or is it the order they're invited to the party?

Creation date, not party invite order. IIRC, it's actually account creation date, not character creation date, but I'm not 100% sure of that. Either way, however, it's not mutable.
