Default Question about Dual-boxing with a laptop...

I've been trying to see if it's possible to dual box with a PC & a laptop. I haven't been able to locate any answers. I just would like to know if it's possible & also would it be better to just use software to run both toons on one machine?

I'm barely starting out & would like as much info as possible before investing money into this. I'm on a budget so buying a whole new PC for this is out of the question. Any & all info is much appreciated, thanks.

Yes it is possible. I multibox with 3 PCs and a laptop. I use Keyclone, which requires a license for each PC you run it on.

Cool, thanks... I'm looking into it right now. :-)

I do have one question, what would be suggested for someone that's on a budget & want a simple PC-Laptop setup? From what I see so far, I should get a KVM switch & with Keyclone, I'm all set up. Would this be correct in my estimation so far? More than likely, I'd like to keep my PC as my main toon.

What kind of KVM switch is recommended & is it something I can get like at Fry's or Best Buy? Is it best just to go through Tiger Direct? I'll probably be working on setting everything up in the coming weeks & looking to be fully up & running by next month.

Thanks again for any & all info.

You don't need a KVM switch. I just use an external mouse connected to my laptop for doing things on that toon. Thats about as low budget as you can get :_D keyclone x2 (one for each system).

Ok, cool. I already have a mouse for my laptop. So just get 2 keyclones & I'm pretty much set. I'll just look up all info on keyclone & how to manage it & I should be all set up & fully functioning by tomorrow or even tonight?!?
