Default KeyClone creating sticky ALT is pissing me off!!!1!

I don't know whats up with this...I'm honestly not 100% sure if its Keyclone doing this or not either but...

I have "F" key set to assist my leader.
I have "ALT+F" key set to blink.

For some reason, usually after I alt tab through some windows, whenever I hit F, it keeps blinking...leading it to be very annoying when I'm trying to target a mob and instead my alts blink right into it.

I don't know why but the alt modiferier is sticking. If I open the alt in question and hit F, it never blinks...it only happens when the window is not focused, and especially so after alt tabbing from window to window. As far as I can tell, this doesn't really happen with any other keys then F either, but that could just be cause its the most obvious (as if my alt doesn't have a target or it blinks into the mob I notice it alot).

    Any suggestions?

Mine has done the exact same thing for ages, alt gets stuck now and then with keyclone. I ended up having to make 2 buttons for my main macros, one without and one with alt for when it decides to play up

Ive seen a few threads with half a dozen people having the same problem, wouldn't be expecting a fix for it anytime soon though much like the close bug :whistling:

If you are hitting the keys as you tab through windows.. you "might" be holding down the alt key the entire time...and when you swap to a new window, the old window never get's the up-key-realease.
Then, you hit F again, and Keyclone allows this to pass through because you don't have it blacklisted (and shouldn't).

You need to give each window time to come in and out of focus with the key presses.

I had the same problem (across multiple machines) and it only happens when I hold down the alt key or forget to let go before doing something else.

I have the same issue for a long time already and it's annoying indeed.
Since I'm using modifiers to switch PiP, I encounter this quite often.

Perhaps we could get the awesome programmer of keyclone to work in a key-up command some short delay after they are sent as key-downs. Any time you have slight lag or windows decides it's the focus and not WoW you will run into this problem. You can easily duplicate it by holding down your modifier and pressing your key to stop broadcasting, to simulate the loss of focus, while not brodcasting release the modifier and resume broadcasting you will now have the "modifier stuck" scenario. To remedy this situation simply press the stuck modifier for about a second and release. if you want to make a macro for showing when a modifier is stuck try this

#showtooltip [mod:ctrl] Fireball; [mod:alt] Arcane Missiles; [mod:shift] Frostbolt; [nomod] Polymorph

this macro will show a different spell tooltip dependant upon modifiers being pressed you can quickly train yourself to know which spell equals which modifier. The nice part about this it doesn't take up a key that can be keybound somewhere else.

When you press Alt+F are you doing it manually or do you use X-Keys to do it? I found the way I was writing my macros in X-Keys was causing this exact same issue, recently i found another way to write the same macro and I've never had this problem again, ill will have to look at my setup when i get off work and let you know.

If I remember correctly it was the difference between the following:

(good way) Alt Down + F + Alt Up

    VS

    (bad way) Alt + F

I have not run into this problem either. The only related issue I have is if I hold down any key and mouse over to the second computer via a synergy type program what ever key I had down will remain down on the first computer until I return and re-cycle the key.
