    Default I'm so stubborn...

I have the hunter team and the shaman team. I keep leveling the hunters...

I know they're not as good in arenas as the shaman, but golly they're fun!

I know that a single ret pally, DK, or whirlwind-warrior can really cause me problems in world PvP, but golly they're fun!

I keep secretly hoping to be that guy who shows that hunters are competitive when properly geared. I know that they can be effective in TBC BGs, even undergeared.

For now, I keep pressing on with the hunters, having a blast running instances with them, and wishing that not being hopelessly behind the PvP gear curve will help them reach their fullest potential.

Every fearbomb, every embarassing 2v4 loss, every time I can't rez a dead hunter.... all make me want to return "home" to the shaman. When I do, I destroy people as always, and it feels so nice.

But I'm so stubborn, and golly the hunters are fun!

My friend here has 5x 70 hunters and he likes them. I try to convince him everyday to just make something useful. All i know is that hes having fun and i guess thats what will keep you playing. I started 4 mages and 1 priest that I was having a blast with until i went to do some of the group quests in Northrend and couldnt kill the melee bosses. So that finally pressed my hand to roll a tank

I know what you mean! Had to force myself off my hunters to get my shamans leveled (and professions leveled). Those hunters were just way too much fun. When they were level 60 in AV they just kicked total ass. Such a fun group.

What's fun is 3 mage arcane explosion + 1 holy nova, melting DKs in 3 seconds. I love aoe.

It's all about what you enjoy playing and having fun. Hope the hunters work out for you! Oh and extra points for using the word "golly" 3x in this post

My hunters aren't quite 60 yet, as I'm messing around off and on with 3 other sub-60 teams at the same time.
They are very fun to play and absolutely destroy PvE content, which is good as I wanted a team which would be able to do a lot of dailies in a short amount of time.

Pre-BC, my solo-hunter (now part of a 5x boxing team) was exceptional in battlegrounds.
That never really translated to arena for me, but you never know when you'll find the winning combination.
A lot of teams can be successful with 4x one thing and 1x another, so you might be close to the winning composition with a minor change.

As Lance said above me, as long as it is fun, that's what counts.

You want fun 3 mages, a warlock and a priest. The AOE destruction is amazing. Mages Arcane Explosion, the Lock does hellfire and the priest holy nova. Holy nova spam compensates perfectly for lock hellfire just remember to move the lock after everything is dead as hellfire is a channeling spell. Nothing like celebrating a kill only to realize your lock is ticking away to death hehe.
