the adds shouldn't be that hard, they have 25k~ hp. The first 8 or so adds I take out with a fire nova totem - > EM Thunderstorm.

The problem isn't as much killing them as it is getting them away from the foam-covered corridor of death. When they stand there, firing spells and harpoons on your healers, they have to be first priority, but since they're in the foam, you can't really tank them. Do you LOS them, or?

I spent quite a while on on Skadi but I think i finally got the hang of him. At the start of the event I run as far down as I can to meet the mobs. I use the pally undead aoe, followed by nova tots. When the nova tots blow, I do EM+ thunder and drop magma tots. Once they're dead I kill the adds that come and move up. I earth shock the caster add to bring him closer and just keep moving up. I usually pull / run up to the last group on a non-caster add wave. I then set off 3 harpoons and get mana to full in-between more waves. Once I have full mana, I wait until its a harpoon wave and then I bring the boss down with 2 more harpoons. Have the shamans far enough away with a posion cleansing tot, kill the adds and then burn the boss. Knowing that taunt works while he is wirlwinding makes the encounter easy.

Good info - thanks. Where do you position your team when they reach the harpoons?

I have my shamans near the edge of the circle at the end, still in the hallway. For the harpoon adds, i just nuke them down far away without even going in to tank them. I have my pally taunt them which usually works well.

Probably the hardest fight in the instance but still not that difficult. Have your tank round up the adds coming down the stairs, use an AoE to blow them up when it gets to be a good sized amount but focus on the single 4x Elites that come out with fairly low health and are casters. Once you can attack the boss, he just throws out Frostbolts, it takes 3-4 of them on the same targets to drop anyone so healing through it is very easy. Groundings do not work though, so stay close to the tank and Chain Heal if the damage is spread well or top whoever off needs it. Besides that he will do a Blizzard, when he starts casting the spell just begin run any direction to avoid it and rinse/repeat. Avoiding the Blizzard will save a ton of mana and you can take your time on this fight."

I am having a hell of a time with this. trash is easy. It seems he non stop blizzards and bolts.. i cant seem to heal my way through this fight. Between moving/healing I cant seem to DPS him. I don't even try to tank ( no need ) i have tried using my paly to just heal..If anyone has tips or tricks for this, please post. Hes not as easy to heal through as Ellay made it sound hehe. ( I use frost aura for him as well )

I cant seem to get the char links to work " look up Whitelyon and Shesham to see my gear. Im well geared for this place im sure. Sheshamx is my resto and b c and d are dps

this guy is a pain in the ass. I still havent beat Novos, he blizzards too damn often and by the time I run my guys out and heal I get like 2 sets of LBs or whatever off, and then Im back to running/healing. My guys just dont heal enough yet, 1900ish buffed spell power and he just eats through their 14k health.

oh btw just checked hes not skippable as there is a webbed doorway that must open when he dies :thumbdown:

I tried LOSing the boss and all it did was just slow down my death a tiny bit. His frostbolts don't need LOS however his Blizzard seems to... maybe I need to finally respec one of my shaman resto, sigh.

the Blizzard section isn't that big, you need to work on this strat because multiple other bosses Blizzard as well such as the last boss in Violet Hold. You can see the precast of Blizzard so when you do just start to move preemptively so your stuck in it for even less duration, then heal / pew pew. There is no need to rush on the DPS part. It's all about getting a good rythym down.
