Siege weapons are next to impossible to master at first glance for multiboxing. Or is it? I was about to just give up on it all together, but I've started thinking and belive it isn't that hard perhaps, with the right tools for the job! Anyhow, this discussion is going to be about sharing ideas on how to master the art of multiboxing siege weaponry! Woozah!

Siege weapons importancy:
In wintergrasp, it seems controlling a siege weapon is a must. Walking around without one isn't an option in my experience, believe me I tried, but siege weapons seem to kill me before I can really do anything. So we're stuck to using them, if we want to be as succesfull as possible. But how?

The issues with siege weaponry and multiboxing:
First of all, you can't put anyone on follow when controlling a siege weapon. This is the major issue. Having to independantly move multiple siege weapons across multiple screens seems highly ineffective. In fact, it takes a lot of time and dedication to get somewhere and you are usually left with a great deal of frutration while trying to get where you want to be. So how can we beat this?

It seems the only way is having all yoru windows visible in your set up and have independant keys for movement across all of your toons.

I'm experimenting with the following movement set up. (Ineffectively as of yet, but I'm confident it's more of a 'getting used to it' issue.)

[ u][ i][ o][ p]
[ h] [ j] [ l] [ ;]
[ ] [ ] [ m] [ .][ /]

Toon 1: left right : U and I
Toon 2: left right : O and P
Toon 3: left right : L and ;
Toon 4: left right : . and /
All toons: left right : h and j
autorun for all four: m
67890 for petbar skills.

Basicly, I got two screen set up with my three alts on my second screen on top of each other with the screen tilted on its side. My keyboard layout matches the irl dimensions somewhat. What I am trying to achieve with this is to effectively move about with four chars without having to swap screens all the time.

currently trouble I'm having is that I need to release turn all before independantly turning some other toon. At longer distances it's quite managable, but in short quarters I'm still having quite a lot of trouble.

I need an Xkeys pro thingy tbh. :<

Anyhow, I'm interested in hearing other peoples ideas on siege weaponry and multiboxing!
