My macro/UI/keyboard setup (request - LONG)

Sorry for the all questions fuzzy!

Are your bars basically setup as static layout for the key binds, going down your mains bar, the 3rd button is your dps button? below that is the shift/alt/ctrl bind etc etc?

Also where do you find yourself putting Holy Shield? into which macro do you mostly use it it?

Also i was messing around yesterday and noticed i do more dps using single bound ability ie: wrath/LB and spamming that i can get my dps into the 1.4K easy, but when i do a castsequence i dont really get that much dps out of it even spamming it, is that typical, or is that backwards? It could be an issue with myself as well. Just clarifying.

When your setup does Chain heal does it cast on specific people or just tank?

The top-most bar is the non-modified bar, the next one is the ctrl + key bar, the one after that is the shift + key bar.

My DPS button (Q) is the first one, my DPS + heal button (E) is the second one. My tank button (holy shield + judge) is the third button (R). I have HotR and SoR in my dps rotation (mapped to Q and E) for my paladin.

You can optimize your castsequence macros using the target dummies in the major cities. At the moment I top out around 2000 dps with buffs and trinkets. My boss-rotation yields significantly more dps than my LB/CL spam If you get less out of your castsequence, you probably just need to tweak it :-)

As for chain heal, my resto shaman casts on my tank, elemental shaman 1 casts on resto shaman and elemental shaman 2 casts on elemental shaman 1 :-) I think CH automatically jumps to whoever has lower HPS, except for the first hit (which is targetted), so don't cast on the same char if you want to spread the healing out.

All shaman heals with 1-5 (lesser healing wave), resto heals main when I press "E". I don't have any keys mapped for resto to anyone but my main - usually when other than the tank needs healing its either an emergency situation (needs quick lesser heals) or everyone needs a heal (chain).

The background panel are called kgPanels and is (I think) the continued eePanels. Theyre pretty easy to use and setup - and thanks :-D

The emergency heal (all shaman cast lesser healing wave) can be cast on everyone using 1-5 - that includes themselves.

My resto shaman uses NS in the oh-shit macro (mapped to "M") - I don't remember the exact command, but something in the line of:

/use 13
/use 14
/cast Tidal Wave
/cast Natures Swiftness
/castsequence Healing Wave, Riptide, Chain Heal

Then I just spam it

hehe, I am so disapointed in myself for not binding the modified key presses to different macros.
That will solve so many of the problems I have been having.

LOL, i was actually already stockpiling updated addons becuase i knew he was posting this, though still took me 3 to 5 hours to redo all my UIs and Macros across my PCs, but i can tell a huge difference in my response, i now have to adjust the setup on some of the macros to fit my hands.....If i knew about the X7-G100 before the xkeys, i would of got that, but now i have that coming and my xkeys still here.
