Default Having problems with attack range with my paladin/warlock/hunter setup

So I started dual boxing earlier today. I used RAF to make 2 additional accounts, downloaded Keyclone and got to work!
I didn't choose my characters based on good multi box setups. I just chose the 3 classes I felt like playing. Anyways, this is my current setup:

Pala is main char and focus target for my other chars. They have separate hotkeys.
I use this to follow the pala, and attack his target with all my chars:

    /target focus
    /follow
    /assist
    /stopcasting

It's working almost as planned. I'm able to attack with both my pala and warlock. But since the hunter is following my pala, it's too close to the target to shoot.

Any suggestions about how to make the hunter keep his distance?

I would hot key a movement key and pass it on to the hunter via keyclone. I know some folks will pass the S key to the hunter and tap it as they head into battle.
With my shaman set up I use the N52 game pad and pass the directional buttons to my clones. If I want to maintain distance I will tap it and even more importantly having turn movements available to me allows me to turn them in battle on the fly.
If I did not have my N52 I would most likely rebind my movement keys on my clones to Shift-WASD

you can put all his points in survival and be one of the rare melee hunters. it works. not common, but works.
