2x Frost Mage PvP tips

Hello, this is my first post on here and I wanted to bring up frost mages as PvP multi-boxing. I haven't gotten keyclone yet but i've multi-boxed on my friends account on his computer with it and love it.. I was multi-boxing 2x frost mages, and I QUED up for a BG and I did 2 or 3 WSG fights.. And I picked up on some tips I gave my friend and well decided to share with you guys, maybe you can give me some tips too

• Keybind frost nova differently on both accounts. I used mouse buttons 1/2
• I find 2x arcane missiles a killer against a target when they start casting a spell..
• Frost bite is probably the best when you are casting 2x times.. Thats a 30% chance to proc each 2x frost bolts :O

Thats all I have. He had a 27/26 mage combo. it was really fun, I catch on to stuff fast so when I get keyclone I well level 2x frost mages and share more tips if you like those tips I gave

I might misunderstood but are you dual boxing with your own account and your friends account?

If you are and get caught you most likley will get a ban.

Some tips is like with frost nova and key clone you can use a "round robin" feature that only press one client at a time..

So when you press "2" once mage 1 will use frost nova and when you press it again mage 2 will use frost nova!

If you are saying.. your friend has multiple accounts and he let you try his toons.. that's against the terms of service, but playing his toons on his computer with his ip address.. Blizz wouldn't be able to tell who was playing.

If you're playing your account and your friends account, at the same time, you can get in trouble for that.
Pretty much, the more accounts you play, the more attention you get.
If you box two accounts, you'll get a bit but not necessarily a ton.
If you box five accounts, chances are you'll be reported very regularly.
There's nothing wrong with boxing 2 or 5 accounts, but the GM's will investigate your accounts.

If they're registered to the same person, played from the same IP address, same billing information for the accounts, the GM will basically leave it at that.
If you've got your account, your friends account and a guildies account who lives across the country, the GM will easily see this and account sharing is bannable.
Not saying you will be banned, but am saying there's a good chance you'll be warned and if you have warnings already, banned instead of warned.









Two mages... interesting choice.

Mages have a lot of escape mechanisms and are high burst class.
Between castsequences for your crowd control and snare abilities, you can really control the field.
Staggered Frost Nova's could be fun. Sheep x2 will be as well.

One mage as the main, with the other assisting the main, you'll deal a tremendous amount of burst for two toons.

Not sure if you'd spec them differently. Possibly deep frost for control and maybe Arcane/Fire for more dps on the other.
Then you have the water pet for mana regen, along with Slow (Arcane) or Dragonbreath (Fire).
Two of the same will be easier to set up macro's and hotkeys, as they'll each have the same thing with same cast times etc.

Ip doesnt realy matter, what they look at is account details.. There is not realy a easy way for blizzard to prove account sharing. Do the power levlers from china get banned when the ip switches from the US to China? nah..

However if you clearly control both chars(with different account details) either with multi boxing or not its against TOS and the chance to get reported is alot bigger..

I take interest in all your posts, and 2x mages multi boxing is a great PvP choice if you play them right with the sheeps and stuff same with warlocks.

But I have one issue, on one account I made it really fast and didn't use the right last name (typed it in really fast, didn't use the proper name) but on the other account I did.. I still have 2 days left untill I have to pay, but if its with the same credit card would it really matter? xD

Make an email to Blizzard, probably to their billing department.
Explain your situation, if the spelling is very similar and the accounts have always been played from the same IP, they'll help you out.
Just remember to be polite.

If the names were vastly different, and the accounts had until recently been played on differing IP's, that would be different.
Clearly, that is not the case here.
