Pull the snake boss to the golem room for the win ~ 3rd boss in halls of lightning it's all about kiting and staying spread out AS SOON as he goes back into his caster form.

I assume you mean Ionar? Any chance of a video? I haven't attempted him since I did the instance on normal, but from what I experienced there, heroic should be quite the pain.Originally Posted by 'Toned',index.php?page=Thread&postID=162037#post16 2037

Ill take a pic of my positioning later today, but I don't move for this boss at all.Originally Posted by 'Fuzzyboy',index.php?page=Thread&postID=162049#pos t162049
I don't move for Drakkari Collosus, with NR totem and chain heal he's semi-easy. I position all shaman in a semi-circle and 4 x healing stream and NR totem I pull collosus with tank and stand in middle of them. Once he goes to Elemental form I do 2 dps spells then one chain heal until hes down. Normal dpsing for collosus again and for last elemental I Bloodlust as by then I need a little more healing and dps fast. If you can make it to last elemental with BL you know you have won.
Snake boss, is easy if you position your shaman in the water or up one level in the entrance spiral, they wont get hit with poison AE. Do your normal DPS rotation and ignore snakes. Once boss is dead use 4X TS to kill all the snakes. Oh make sure your tank isn't in water with you or the AE will hit your shaman.
1 pally, 4x shaman.
have the shaman outside of the room and the pally inside the room fighting at the end of the hallway so the fight is mostly at max DPS range.
standard totems should be dropped in the center of the hallway.
(I haven't tried this but is sounds good ) move shaman back several feet and drop fire elementals, move shaman back forward then have tank pull.
( I normally have dropped the fire elementals after the shaman are attacked but I'm going to try the move back and drop next time )
you don't want the fire elementals attacking the boss, they are to keep your shaman free of snakes.
be ready to drop poison cleansing totem more than once and a possibly group chain heal.
tank and spank.

Here You go, this how i place them, and i just let them self heal when he does his little trick. I never move them at all, I never had a shaman die, I actually consider this one of the easier bosses.

I don't recognize that room.
I didn't at first either but if you blow up the picture you will see his arrow is pointing south. He has just come through the area where the statues become live and attack, has cleared the room he is in as well as the one to the south of that. The bottom room to the south is where the boss initially starts so he has pulled it back two rooms to the north.Originally Posted by 'Multibocks',index.php?page=Thread&postID=162278#p ost162278
I'm sure he will correct me if I'm wrong.
