    Default glyph of chain lightning

    Anyone else considering these for pvp? I know the fourth target wouldn't get hit that hard, but it seems every bit would help. I notice a lot of the time I am able to instagib the first two targets and the third is at about half hp... be nice to put a dent in a fourth as well. Thoughts?

    I was thinking flametongue weapon for 2% extra crit, and flame shock so it's not consumed by lava burst. Didn't really see any others I wanted for PVP.

    For pve I'd take the water mastery glyph over flame shock though.

    For pure arena min/maxing, glyph of earth shock seems very powerful but I can see glyph of CL being alot of fun in BGs/world pvp

    luckly glyphs are going to be cheap to swap

    The % of time my chain lightning hits 3 targets is low and with 4 targets is insanly low and nearly impossible in the arena..

    In BGs you probably hit three quite often though, correct?
    Yeah, and I definitely hit 3 at instance meeting stones

    Earth shock glyph for the win. Combine like this for INSANE burst:

    Fire novas
    Flameshock + 3x Lava Burst
    CL
    3x Earth shock
    <0.5 second GC or less>
    EM + Thunderstorm


    (Edit: you could put EM on CL instead or for extra long range punch, there are several combinations for this)


    Anyone standing ~12 yards or closer will take, guessing for a lvl 80 team, roughly 40-50k damage over a period of perhaps 1-2 seconds.
    Glyph of CL is funny-looking at best. Your 4th CL hit will rarely land, and when it does, it outputs minimal amounts of damage. Go for something more useful for pvp.

    Glyph of Earth Shock: Reduces the global cooldown triggered by your Earth Shock ability by 1 sec.
    Wait, WTF? Okay, someone mentioned earlier that shocks only have a 1 sec GCD to START with...does this actually take Earth Shock off the GCD?!

    It's usually 1.5, but a few things (totems for example) are only 1 sec. I was told shocks are also 1 sec, but haven't exactly taken a stopwatch to it. Even if they were full of baloney, which would not surprise me too much, 0.5 sec GCDs are giggles.

    Also usually anything I care enough about to be using a spell interrupt on, I want dead ASAP. So this is hot stuff for PVE as well as for PVP burst DPS. One of our more awesome glyphs. Now if they could fix the minors...and maybe those "extra hop" chain nonsense glyphs...O_o

    Also again, it's worded as a subtracted constant value. So if one had a LOT of haste, it could presumably be off the GCD (or trigger a 0sec cooldown depending on implementation), possibly allowing you to treat it in macros as you would a trinket / elemental mastery / etc. Which would be amusing.

    Very much so - very powerful for burst damage. How much haste are we talking about to try this out?
