    I'm used to hotkeynet intercepting ALL keyboard characters and sending them to the copies of wow, but it appears that Keyclone does not work this way.
    Keyclone lets all keys through tot he focused client.

    Here's my do not pass list: RETURN ESCAPE 0 (2-9) (A-Z) F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 SEMICOLON EQUALS SLASH

    Here's how I would prefer my mappings:
    PALLY: 1-0, A-Z do not get passed (main window)
    PRIEST: SHIFT 1-0 goes ONLY to the priest (window 2)
    MAGE: ALT 1-0 goes ONLY to the mages (windows 3,4,5)

    What am I missing?
    On the pally if shift 1-0 and alt 1-0 are not keybound to something they will press 1-0. The solution I used was to find a spare hotkey bar and bind the keys to empty buttons. Using most barmods you have 10 bars total, so you can bind a two keys per button and only end up losing 1 bar to suck up these blank binds. It is a bit of a kludge, but it works.

    The worst part, is that I'm have a bit of a programming background and the wording is just not making sense (got maximizer working though, which was worth the $20).
    I believe HotKeyNet can handle the maximizer stuff as well as the keybinds that you are after, so you could setup the maximizer portion there and be up and running since you already have the keystrokes doing what you want.

    Another option would be InnerSpace as it can do exactly what you are asking with keybinds, and the maximizer equivilant feature performs much faster than anything else I've tried. Information about basic IS setup is in my sig and you can get a 7 day free trial.

    Anyhow, hope that helps.

    Don't want to 'steal' customers, but as HKNs features are not so well known (or how to implement them), let me say, that the hole gamestarting,maximizer,pip-switching, key-board-broadcasting and even a hole ftl-setup can be done in HotKeyNet. If you need any help with the hkn-file to do it or you have other questions feel free to pm me or open an thread for it
    (if you want to use IS Zanthor is your man i think).

    one way to work around this is to simple add [nomod] to all of your pally's spells and attacks.

    Wouldn't it just be easier to have, say a group of 4 action bars that are the same for all of your toons?

    Bar1 = 1-0
    Bar2 = Shift + 1-0
    Bar3 = Alt + 1-0
    Bar4 = Ctrl + 1-0

    Then just put spells in the place you want them to for each toon..

    So your pally would have his spell on Bar1 #3 key
    Your Mages would have their spells on Bar2 #Shift +3 key
    don't put anything on Bar1 #3 key for the Mages..and do the same for the pally on the Shift+3 Bar2.

    Then pass all normal action keys.

    Except that with multiple bars you can't play a single toon easily.

    Maybe i'm just doing it wrong ... Does everyone unbind the keys they send to their alts? Is that how most people are multiboxing? Feedback please ...
    This is pretty much how I run my setup - if I have a key that needs to fire on alts but not main, I bind that to an empty action slot on my main (in case I might want to drop something in there later), and a slot with action on alts .

    So for instance, my paladin has macros in 1 2 3 5 6 but not 4 which is just empty on the pali bar, 4 goes to the sham only etc. ... I actually have a much more complex setup using modifiers (ctrl/alt/shift) etc, but that's the gist of it.

    modifier explanation:
    perhaps slot three on my paladin reacts to "3" whereas slot 3 on my alts reacts to alt+3

    When I first tried to get Keyclone working I ran into this same issue. I tried for hours to get key broadcasting to work, and it never did. Once Octopus added Maximizer functionality I switched and have been happily using that. I would highly recommend getting Macaroon for a Barmod - Then create a single, hidden, button that is in the middle top of your screen. Every key you want that toon to ignore can then be bound to that single button - the best part is that when you want to rebind the key you can simply do so within WoW, so you can essentially reconfigure on the fly.

    As for your setup, before you get too far in I would recommend 3 warlocks instead of 3 mages. I have Pally/2xMage/Warlock/Priest - and the Warlock provides more damage, more utility, and better CC than the mages (for a multiboxer).

    • Sheep is nice, but at high level Prayer of Mending makes a pet as an off-tank great for CC - and that will work even in heroics
    • Banish is wonderful for CC
    • Water/Food is nice, but unless you are deep in an instance it isn't necessary.
    • Soulstones can get you through "multibox issues" (some toon manages to aggro something you didn't wanna aggro and you wiped).

    Personally if I could do it over again, I would have 2xWarlock, 1xMage - so I would get the benefits of the portals/food with the benefit of 2 pets and 2 soulstones (one for priest and one for tank, or 1 every 15 minutes if needed... though I haven't really run into that).

    In fact, I am in the process of leveling a lock on one of the accounts for my mages for that exact reason
