I can't wait to try out my 5x death knights in arena. Anti-magic zone and shell + bone armor + icebound fortitude + pets and deathgrips make things fun.
Ive been death griped already and it wasnt as devastating as expected even thought im not 80 and dooing arenas!

Should be purgeable if its a zone they apply you have to dish out enough damage trought it or just move out of it.. Blow thunderstorm with a grounding totem nearby and the deathknight have to do the slow walk!
How much of a deathknights damage is disease based? We can use 1-4 disiease cleansing totems at once basicly removing them instant and maybe taking alot of theyr damage away?
We do not know if what arenas DK will be best in but hopefully it will be in the lower brackets. Seeing death knights in 5vs5 might be as rare as seeing ret paladins there (pre 3.0 buffs that is) :P
My biggest concern is beeing pulled off the bridge in Blades edge realy were we have one good spot.. Maybe the sewers will get abit more tricky.. But from seeing the talents it absolutly sound like another anti cloth class in the game were rogues already did fairly well. Death knights looks like they can be easily kited and diseases can be removed by paladins,shamans and priests.
Deathknights might seem crazy 1vs1 but in the big picture it looks to me like they have alot of weaknesses the ret paladins suffer from while not having hands of freedom.
if you cant burn down 10k hps REALLY quick with 5 shamen then you really need to reroll. Not being mean just saying its nothing to worry about. besides if your inside the bubble your spells work. So that being said they pump the bubble you hit them with chain lightning. thats over 10k dmg done to that bubble. now one of two things is gonna happen IF somehow its still up and they think its a good idea to grip you to them then do your thunderstorm to knock them all out of the bubble then rape. bring back your main guy "because follow might be broken" and chainlightning their team with elemental mastey this will insta put them on defense trying to heal flame shock their healer x5 then lava burst him and now hes dead.
Or two your gonna burn through that bubble and rape them regular

Anti-magic zone I don't think is purgable. The knockback thunderstorm is gonna be scary. AT arena start we get to use: Empower Rune Weapon Which means we can instantly use Icebound Fortitude Along with bone armor and anti-magic zone/shells. That's insane for starting and lasts for 12 second.
I'm going to check out Corpse explosion on ghoul does for damage tonight, but i'm pretty sure it's going to to alot of damage.
I think we can be viable.

As to disease totem - it'll help, but remember that there's a 30% dispel resist very low in the Unholy tree. You can count on them having that if it's important to them that the diseases stay on.

Also don't DKs have multiple silence spells, including one that is a 50 yard AoE with damage? Not saying its impossible to beat DKs, but they are kind of tossed out as the "anti caster" class, gonna definitely be interesting.
The anti-magic zone is an absorption shield, so that's one way to get rid of it.
Strangulate can be increased to 50 yard range, but I'm pretty sure it's single-target only.
