Plenty of people here 5 box or more, and multiple classes. It's not hard to get 5 characters set up to follow and attack the leader's target. The only challenge is trying to add in more control over what they're all doing, meaning adding in more spells and more complicated rotations and different sets of rotations. Once you get a feel for that, the only limit is really money.

I wouldn't call myself a pro but if you have questions can you be a little more specific?

I just want to know how you marco manage? Do mix some or all the classes spell into a marco or do you get more X keys to to the spells?

I have a main assist and follow key.

Then I have “3” bound on all slaves for their DPS castseqeunces. I spam this key during a long fight.
I also have “Shift+3” bound on all slaves with pure DPS (no debuffs or DoTs) to take out trash mobs.

Other than that, I use an addon called SmartBuff to keep everyone fully buffed. The activation key is set to my backspace key and I just hit it from time to time.

Cross-Class setups: How do you manage it all?

I posted what my different toons do (in a nutshell) in two posts in there...

a lot like frosty, I have my pure dps on 1 for trash, full dps sequence on 2
I have a g15 keyboard so my healer is hard macroed

the bottom six keys have one for healing each character, with no mod the primary healer casts, with control the druid does, with shift the priest does.
Then I have the other 12 keys set up for specials across the board. one for eat/drink, one for follow, one for my rez macro.

I will be, very soon, changing my set up completely. I will be using macaroon for my full bar setup on the slave machines. That way when I play a solo on any character I can have the standard (server saved) bars/macro's for the solo play.

I have 2 buttons I press for my 5 box team: Pally, priest, druid, hunter, mage. Button one is my tank spam macro, my dps macros, and my healing macro. Button two is just tank threat and aggressive healing for when things go bad. I do have macros on several other buttons for other things but i can clear most instances with just those 2 buttons. Spend some time in the macros forum and all the sudden you find yourself being able to use special abilities on several classes effectively just by macroing them into something

For example: My macro for boss pulls uses my arcane mage to pull while popping rage boosters for my druid tank and things like seal/judge on my ret pally, misdirect on my hunter etc.
Basically my mage hits his biggest single burst possible like arcane blast / POM 2nd arcane blast, my druid bumps up some rage and taunts off the mage before boss gets to him followed by misdirect from the hunter, judgements by the ret pally, big hits from the druid, Prayer of Mending from the priest.

All that is one button that I mash over and over for the first few seconds of a boss pull and the net result is a fully debuffed boss, huge threat lead for the tank, good damage done from the mage. I can pretty much coast through a boss after that. My goal with this complication is to raid with a 5 box of mixed classes in WotLK doing the tanking, healing, and some dps. My guild is impressed and they are going to give me a shot and we'll see how it goes when you add in the fight complexity of Naxx.

I have a key for long castsequences, two keys for different instant cast spells, a key for interrupts, three keys for cooldowns and trinkets, totally separate key for any tanking, and totally separate keys for healing. I have emergency heal keys (LOH) and totem keys and buff keys, etc. I got everything that a normal person would have on one character plus some. I match it up as best I can.

I only do 2 classes in wow but I have all kinds in EQ. You do what the class does best to your main key (healer heals, dps casts big nuke, slower slows, etc.) and then spam it.

I would not do more then one mellee class though. Although some guy on this forum suggested that if you have taruns (longer mellee range) you might be able to make it work.
