Take a look at elemental shamans wich is one of the worst classes atm (pre lava burst) Ive seen 1-2 so far and my server is HEAVY populated... People roll FOTM and blizzard needs atleasst 6-7% of the player base to play deathknight so a easy way to do it is to make them very strong in the begining.
Keep in mind this is a brand new class, so everyone is going to want to check it out..not that it's just a FOTM.
There is content that is only accessible if you create a DK.
