One thing you have to consider is that a lot of these folks were in beta, so they already know exactly where to go and what to do. This can half the time it takes to level up. My brother-in-law apparently was up for 2 days straight after he picked up the x-pac.

Default from what I hear you can tag your way up

if you have friends or a guild to help you, you run through a zone taging everything and letting your guild kill it.
for an mboxer it would be like having your main run around solo and 4 alts following him, let your main tag the item and your 4 alts kill it.
this is supposed to give your main full credit for the kill, and your alts get nothing.
it doesn't work well if your alts do some type of AoE.

I'm personally not really interested in do this, I would rather just quest my way up which is going to take a lot of time.
I can see this as a plus if I wanted to push an alt through like getting a druid caught up with my pally/shammy team.

I'm not sure how it is now, but I think the only way to get full exp credit was to be in a group of at least 2 similar leveled toons.

Then you would tag the mob and have a pet class finish it off for you, but only with the pet.

Wow! Some guys who have been learning the L80 content on beta for the last couple of months levelled to 80 and "beat" the L80 content in a few days.
    Whoopie-fucking-do!

Personally, I'm appalled at their attitude...

Did Blizzard miscalculate in the tuning of these encounters? Or is this Blizzard folding under the weight of a large casual player base that demands to be on equal footing with end-game raiders?
An equal footing! Excuse me! We all pay the same monthly fee!

The day Blizzard decides to cater for this type of egotistical muppet is the day I close my accounts!

I agree. I don't know what they were expecting. They've been farming a retune of an oldworld raid instance for months, and now that the game goes lives they cry because no one cranked up the difficulty?

I'm not even going to waste my time on that link.
There's no way Blizzard could possibly release enough content to keep these people happy.
