First i must say this is a great site i have been interested in running my own party but didnt know how to do it atleast now i'm a bit closer with the info here.
The answer to my questions might be somewhere in the forum but i'm currently in Yemen working and the internet is terrible slow so i cant look through it all and i'd like to order the system asap so its ready to go when i get back home.
To start with i'd like to know how much bandwidht i need for 5 boxing, i have 8 Mb at home. I would like to use only 1 pc,i seen some of you use an intel quad core q6600 2,4 ghz 8 gb DDR2 and nVidia GeForce8800gtx is this the best option so far or is there a more powerful machine that might be better? I will use 2 screens and xkeys.
I have thought about getting 1 palatank 2 warlocks and 2 shaman 1 will be specced resto later in the game,however i haven't seen anyone use this combo so i wonder if it's a bad choice? The reason for my choice is that i have 1 shammy and 1 lock already so for pvp (bg's not arena yet) i would swap the pala for the lock or shammy.I wanne do pve and instances hopefully its enough for heroics aswell..? The way i'm thinking the Shammys can put several different totems like stoneskin, strenght of earth,totem of wrath,flametongue (if it stacks)manaspring x2 or 1 healing stream totem it feels like it would add some benefits for the tank and if i specc demonology the felguards might be good enough as offtanks,or is it pointless when i have a palatank? I been thinking a bit about priests aswell but they are a bit more squishy than the shammys. I hope 3 different toons wont be to hard to manage as this will be my first time multiboxing.
Then for last, do you now of any good servers for mb teams?I'm on european realms.

I multibox 5 accounts on a 2mb connection - bandwidth is not realy an issue, the main problem you will have is latency, mine is around 75-200, yours will probably be higher due to location.
your machine spec is OK - i personally would go with a better GFX card - a GTX260 or better if you are looking to run 5 at a decent fps per instance.

3 different toon types might be a bit of a headache for you first off, but you should soon get into the swing of things.. Group composition is one of the most debated topics on these forums, as each persons seperate playstyles fit better with different characters. If you find something is not working you can always swap characters early on to get the balance you fell right with.

As for the realm take your pick - depends if you want pvp or not - on the wiki is a list of whos on what realm.

Thanks well i have changed my idea about the group i will go with 4 locks and a priest then with raf i will be able to grant 2 toons levels up to 60 which will be a paladin and a shaman. i have 1lock 1shaman 1 rogua at lvl70 so then i can swap out toons wheather i'm going for pvp or instances.
Hmm my location is sweden so latency should not be to bad,i'm just in Yemen as a diver dont even think it's possible to play wow here.
Getting a better gfx card then.
I have all my 70 toons at pvp realms but i rarely see any multiboxer teams there thats why i asked,would be nice to see some other teams aswell.Will check the wiki list then.
Well in 1 months i will be home starting my 5box team guess gf will be sooo happy about it haha.Will be interesting to see how far i will level with this raf bonus i heard that it should be rather quick.Got 4 weeks before i have to go back working in Yemen.

if you're running raf you will have time to level up other classes - 5 mages and 5 shammies are great fun to play and worth giving a try :thumbsup:

i find each group only takes about 2 days played time to level - triple xp is soo good
