im not sure were do remove the [video] drivers from, When i have tried before they never seem to be fully removed.
That's kind of like changing a tire on a moving car...

In theory, if you remove a videocard driver, you can't see shit to add a new one. Fortunately, they're never "fully" removed.

Forget about your solution...what exactly is the problem you're trying to fix?

BTW: If you're using XP...
Device Manager -> View -> Show hidden devices
Select said driver and press delete.
