I guess I didn't really pay much attention when TBC launched. I was still a very nascent player at the time, rarely raided, etc. so maybe I just didn't notice but it sure doesn't seem like people leveled/accomplished nearly as fast. I'm feeling so left behind because I can't play during the week due to work issues. I played just about every waking moment last weekend and still didn't quite make it to 72. I didn't really worry about it though because I didn't expect EVERYONE else to be at 80 by this weekend, let alone clearing heroics and running Naxx. A big reason I changed my group lineup was because I want to PvP with a druid but I'm already so far behind the curve that I'm starting to doubt I'll be able to hit 80 and gear up before everyone's walking around in Season 5 arena gear and I'll be in the same boat I was in TBC since I started PvP 6 months before WotLK launched.

Iono, maybe it's time to pack it up. Seems like WotLK is forcing people to play hard or GTFO.
