Wipe Recovery Party Res macro! Help!

K, i realllllllllly hate this new bull!#$% macro's saving server side. i loaded my shaman on my main pc for the first time (ever) and used macaroon so i wouldn't effect my macros on my other pc, and did a kara run. loaded her up today on my alt pc again today and all my macro's are gone, blank. so i went through all sorts of topics looking for a way to revert the macro file to the old ones and it didn't work. so i re-wrote all of them, but the one i couldnt' remember/find anywhere was the res party macro.

it was like

"if party1 = dead cast res, if nodead move on to party2, if party2=dead cast res, etc etc etc..."

i can't find it ANYWHERE i've looked for over a half hour now and i'm losing my mind

/cast Resurrection

This is what I used to use.

What Coltimar wrote but mroe dynamic:

/cast [target=party1, dead] Resurrection
/cast [target=party2, dead] Resurrection
/cast [target=party3, dead] Resurrection
/cast [target=party4, dead] [] Resurrection

I added the [] in case you want to ress your target.

Works and it's on one line, only processes the spell availability once so less lag though lag doesn't matter while rezzing it's important to practice good macro writing for the macro's you use in combat

Im using actual names

/cast [target=Samdeathwkaa, dead][target=Samdeathwkab, dead] Ancestral Spirit

And none of these macros is working (won't target the dead corpse near me). Why is that?

I had the same thing happening for me on my shamans thats why i used "party1" or "raid1" in the macros. Seems to work for me, I noticed the name targeting problem occurring the most when it was a dead shaman with the reincarnate option up.

I had this same problem, spent ages trying to figure out why.
