    Default Multiplexer programs features?

Hi I've read some on the programs used to send keys/mouse input to different computers on a LAN.

I'm wondering if what I want to achieve is possible at all.

Can a multiplexer program send command to a window that is not only "inactive" but also in an "inactive" session on the second computer.

I.e. I would "Change user" to let people do their other stuff (internet browsing, music, whatever) on the second computer while WoW would be running in my session.

And on my main computer play as I would normally while sending key/mouse input to the "inactive" WoW window in the "inactive" session of my second computer.

Sorry if this is a stupid/obvious question I just haven't read anything pertainning to this.

You want a piece of software that both acts as a keyboard multiplexer on a single machine and multiple machines. Alternately, you can combine two programs and it should do the same thing.

Look for multiplexers with features in both "Multiple Window" and "Multiple PC" columns, or add two together.

This is an interesting question and I don't think the answer is obvious. I just tested to see whether HotkeyNet can do it. It can -- at least it can if the remote PC is running Vista. I didn't test with XP.

If you don't mind my asking, why don't you run the remote WoW in the active session? It can be in the background and won't bother that machine's user.
