I love an addon called keep following. It will basically try to reset the follow command about every 3-5 seconds, so if they go astray, it will pull them back in line.

I put "/kfollow focus" in a macro and put "/kfollow stop" as the first line of my fighting macro.

In addition to the Jamba (which I haven't had time to tryout yet, there is a 2box Toolkit addon, which has an option to autoaccept quests. Basically you click on the questgiver and it takes the quest.

I would worry if that keep follow addon is legal, I recall a GM using that kind of thing as a specific example of addons behavior that would get you banned. Anything on a timer, I believe, is not allowed. I would head over to the WOW forums and ask in the addons forum if that one is okay.

Strange I never thought of that.... although I do not use strobe it is a timed and automated action......
