You can reasonably get 5 characters up to level 80 within the 2 week window without a problem. It should only take 120 hours max (if you're instance grinding)... let's run some numbers:

    120 Hours = Goal (5 chars at 80)

Total Days to attain the goal = 14 (2 weeks)
Total Hours Available to attain the goal = 336 (14 * 24 hrs/day) [this is our upper limit, unless you know how to get more than 336 hrs out of 14 days ]

    120 Hours / 14 days = 8.57 hours per day

So the question is, will you have that kind of time available to play?

At this point I would argue that instance grinding is going to be the fastest possible way to 80. Quests will be impossible due to the abundance of people doing the same quests as you (remember when TBC came out?)
Quests will probably remain the absolute SLOWEST method for leveling for the next 1-2 months - only because of the over abundance of players trying to do the same quests (good luck doing kill quests with 200 players in the same zone as you/ minimum around the clock).

    So back to instance grinding...

Let's go back to your original goal of 4 - 7 day weeks.

    so now -> 120 Hours / 28 days ... that's a mere 4.28 hours per day tops.

Also the 120 hour factor doesn't figure in rest experience (which you should have atleast from 70-71.5)

Is it realistic to get level 80 in 2 weeks? Very. Is it likely? Depends on how much time you have. 4 weeks should be the maximum it'll take you to get 80 though...

I understand what you said, but you didn't provide any xp math what so ever.

*note* these are VERY rough numbers. Don't take them to heart, just an example.

    A 70 elite gives you ~700 xp not rested when you're 70.

So you're looking at 2100 mobs per level (assuming at level xp cap increases, so does the xp attained per kill).

Say MGT has 100 mobs in it (You get like 1500 rep from a full clear, with 15ish rep per person? Again, just an estimate). I use it b/c IMO its the easiest instance at 70 currently. That means you'll get 70,000 xp from it. That means you'll have to run the instance 20 times.

It takes about 30 minutes to do a full clear of MGT if you don't dawdle.

Not including quest xp (instance quests at 68 gave like 25k xp per) or rested xp, it should take you 10 hours or so per level. Assuming you're going to dawdle/wipe/try new things make that 12 hours per level.

Playing 6 hours a day it will take you about 3 weeks to get to 80.

Make DAMN sure one of your guys is an enchanter. With 4 bosses per instance thats 80+ blues/purples per level. You'll need all those DE'ed mats to enchant your gear at 80.

*Disclaimer* This math is open to SOOOOO many errors I don't even wanna hear it lol. Accept it for what it is: someone trying to kill time at lunch

I'd level them all at the same time. Seems like you'd be duplicating effort doing it twoce...
You may be able to beat the time with one character if you're really good at quests, but you lose the ability to grind out instances for fast xp. Even if it's 20% faster to do one character, you'd lose that by having to do it all over again...

    Just my reasoning
