Default WoW laggy when not selected?

Why does my world of warcraft lag when i click on something else? for example i have 2 wow's runnign and i decide to click the other wow and the main one lags and becomes choppy, i click on the main one and the alternate wow becomes choppy? how do i fix this problem? getting really quite annoying. Yesterday it was perfectly fine until i donwloaded Solidice and used the maximizer which pretty much messed up my set up completely creating lag on any program i dont click

With KeyClone's 'Maximizer' feature you can set the background fps settings for the command that launches each instance of WoW. I believe the default is 15 fps. Bump it to 60 and it should look the way you want it to.
