Hi Tvm, good luck with boxing in china. are you just there temporarily for work? I worked in shanghai for near 2 years after college and used to play everquest everyday after work during the weekday as that was the only thing I could do really. (i lived in an business district, no nightlife to speak of. taxis dont stop there reliably. nearest place that had anything going on was via 35 min subway ride. upside was i went up level pretty fast) ><

question: what do you mean by you needing a china id to get setup? there's been a couple of guys on my realm (whisperwind) that's been asking me about how to get started. and for a few of them, the cost is the barrier to entry. was wondering if this would allow them to get started on my server so i had more ppl to play with. you mentioned their server is only as 2.4.3 atm, does that mean a china wow account is locked to china only servers? sorry for all the question and if i missed anything obvious.

I will be going there to work next year, anyway what I mean by China ID is that you need a Chinese Citizen ID number which is 14 digits, and also the owners name. Its not easy to get.All the English playing players get the IDs from their China friends. If you are really interested maybe you need to wait a bit till I work there so that I can help you guys set up the accounts. If you want to play with your friends I think you need to give up the US server and play in the China server which is not linked to the US server. But the cost of running a multibox gang in WoW China makes it a good place for players who are inhibited by cost of running it in the US and Euro. Or maybe it can be a platform for beginners to start multiboxing there 1st and when they know the set up better bring their know how to the servers of their choice. All in all cost of multiboxing in WoW China is low, but you need to make a few adjustment to the envoirament of play. Depends on whether you can adpat to the Chinese wording there. But If you get a Trial account you can have 20 hours free game play, so you get to feel whether you like it there or not. 8)
