Hello, Thanks, and Question

Hi all, new to multiboxing. Never even knew what it was till about 10 days ago. I expiermented with a dual team for a but 3 days then went straight into 5-boxing. :P My first team is all Druids, just gotta thing for druids :S

First, Thanks to all the people on the forums for their posts and wisdoms. I have read through a lot of posts, espcially the FTL posts. After about three days of reading forums and trying this and trying that, I got my druids to work with the Focusless, Targetless, Leaderless setup. They all work great on the Follow command, my Wrath and Moonfire spells go off without a hitch (no matter which toon I have as "main").

My question: I just dinged lvl 20 and got Starfire. Set it up the hotstrings and macro's the same way I did with my Wrath and Moonfire. Then I notice that on two toons it works perfectly. All toons cast starfire when they cast. The other 3 toons, when they are main, cast Starfire and some or none of the others will cast Starfire. I have double even triple checked my Hotstrings and macros and cannot find any typos. Has anyone else experienced issues with some toons being main and the others not casting the spell? Or does anyone have idea what I may have messed up on? I can post my source code when I get off work if that helps.

Edit: Oh btw.. I am using Keyclone, all 5 instances on 1 pc. Using Windows Vista 32bit

Nothing comes to mind as to why it wouldn't work, could you post your hotstrings and macros so we can see if we notice anything?

Well just got off of work and WoW is still down for maintance On the bright side, gives me time to write this up.

As mentioned above I am using the FTL setup. I am also running all 5 on 1 pc, and using Windows Vista 32bit.

On Keyclone Hotstrings, I have my Starfire spell bound to 'R' for the "main toon" and the macro bound to "=" for the slaves. I have set up the hotstrings for my Starfire spell the same as my Wrath and Moonfire spells (changing the last key of course).
I have checked and rechecked each toons keymap file and they all are in this way, so I, as far as I can tell, have not entered anything incorrectly.
Also to note, I currently have my follow, wrath, and moonfire spells working correctly. It's just the starfire spell that has me confused.

Nothing jumps out as being wrong with that.

Is it 100% of the time only certain slaves work from certain windows? If you spam cast from one window do the others never do anything? Do you get error messages?

If you swap the spell name on just the ones that fail to work to, say, Wrath, do they work?

Try putting a /say or /emote in the macros so you can see if they're even registering as being clicked.

Once i saw that the spells were not working correctly, I hearthed back to TB and started to trouble shoot by attacking the Alliance dummies on the Hunter's Rise. As far as I can tell it happesn 100% of the time. I kept retesting it on my own many time before posting here.

I will try throwing another spell in that spot and tossing some /say commands in there too and see if I can find out more on whats going on.

Got it all working now. Still have no idea what was causing it. I went into my keymap files via Textpad and deleted all the lines associated with the starfire spell. I also rebound the macro key to 'J'. Recreated the hotstrings jumped back into the game and and they all worked. I know that when I had it bound to the '=' key there were no typos in my hotstrings. I checked them all many times. Not sure why it wasn't passing through to some alts /shrug.

Anyways thanks for your help Kadaan. If I ever discover why it was buggy I'll be sure to let Keyclone know.
