Default Ding 60 and random thoughts about 5 boxing shaman

Dinged 60 X 5 yesterday with my all Shaman team. Funny enough, it sorta happened by accident. I decided on a whim to run into Strat Live and dinged after a few kills - those elites really dish out the XP.

I went deep elemental on all 5 shaman and loving Thunderstorm. I bound the spell to the "7" key and put in the Keyclone round-robin list. So far it works like a charm.. anything gets close, I hit 7 and everything flies away. They get close again and pressing 7 fires off T-Storm from character #2 and so on.

I LOVE elemental mastery with chain lightning. In strat, two-three mobs would die right off the bat with this.

In instances, I set all five shaman to drop grounding totems with 0 (zero). I say 3/4 of my fights end before the enemy casters hit my guys. Everything else is eaten up by the totems.

Careful with chain lightning!!! It has a tendency to go around corners and through walls. I ended up pulling two groups along with several spectral citizens and died a horrible death several times.

Reincarnation is like Raid 5 for your party. Reincarnate one shaman and have him raise the others. Buy lots of Ankhs for reincarnation!!!

I consider myself still a noob at all of this, but it sure is a lot of fun. Maybe I'll put a little screen shot video together to show stuff off.

I'm going to have get me some shaman, I play 3 mages prest healer and a druid tank which is fun i can do instaces that are not too hard and I love AOEing a few groups but the mages and priest are a bit squishy and no wipe proteaction is a pain. And playing 3 classes is a real pain. A group of 5 shamans sound a lot more easyer. but I'm not going to start anything till I get all my toons to 80.

I did the holy trinity with pally and 4 shaman and yeah, it rocks. Though for Wrath I'm swapping 2 shaman for a mage and boomkin and I'm pretty happy with it so far (mage and druid only at 68 though). There's a lot of good group synergy, more buffs, zomg water!, and portals. Keeping 2 shaman still keeps me fear immune (tested, works) and helps with casters a bit, though admittedly not as good as 5 grounding totems.

Anyway, as much as I love boxing I still like to hop in 10 mans and play with others so having 4 seperate classes helps me bring whatever's needed to the table.

After this get to 80, or if I need to build up some rested, I'll start leveling group 2 just to have the toons at 80. This will be Prot warrior (or DK), holy priest, warlock, shaman, shaman.
