    Default RAF-Granting Levels

Yes, I know this has been asked before but there is a lot of incorrect information floating around even on the official Blizzard forums/FAQ.

What I would like to know is can a L60 GIFT another toon to L60 or does the gifter have to be L61+ to gift a toon to L60?

    Thanks.

no, you lose all level granting abilites as soon as you hit lv 60, so grant them at lv 59. Also, before you grant a character there levels try having them lv 1 and 99.9% of the way leveled to lv 2, that way as soon as you step through the dark portal (or do some other exp gain) you level to 60.

    this information is no correct
i gave some levels to an alt(the char that gave the levels is a lv 67)
once you hit 60 you just don't get any more "new" levels to give away to alts

also, i suggest bringing a char to atleast lv 10 & then give them levels... it's so sad to waste complete levels for somethng you can do in 1-2 hours
the 99% trick is nice tough

Perfect example of the mixed information out there. Blizzard didn't do a very good job at providing information on RAF IMO. You definitely do not lose your levels once you hit 60 (or beyond), but you will lose them once your 90 day period is up (if you haven't gifted them).

My plan is to level my "alt" group to 30.99 or 31.99 and gift levels to 50.99 or 60.99 depending on the answer to my question. My main group is currently 60 and my RAF ends in less than 1 week and I don't think I can get them to 61 in time. I will try but given the issues with the time RAF ends I wanted to gift the levels at least 1 day before my expiration date.

My previous group I gifted my "alt" group to 59.9 and just XP'd my way to 60 and parked them. If I could get them to 60.99 that would be that much better =).

    Cheers.

    whats there to patch
    you get +1 level

so if you are lv 1.99
and you get 58 levels you are now lv 59.99
so pretty much any + xp then = -> lv 60

and indeed, blizzard really didn't document this very well

Good stuff coming through on these sites. Thanks everyone.

One point I cant find anywhere in the Blizzard info: exactly HOW do you gift the levels to a toon? What is the process? Can I gift levels to a horde toon if I have RAF levelled an alliance toon?

I know it's off topic of multi-boxing, but I am not getting any joy from Blizzard on this.

I have granted lvls from my lvl 60's and up, you do not loose them til your time is up. My last group was 2 druids that I only lvl'd to 23 and had no time to do more. I granted them lvls I had on my hunters, locks, and shaman, all above lvl 60 getting them to as close as I could to lvl 61 without hitting it. One kill after that, my druids hit lvl 61.

First the accounts have to be linked, in a group and near each other. You gift from the account that was invited to the account that did the inviting. You do this from the screen of the account that is doing the gifting (the account that was invited) Just click on the toon your linked to and a choice of options comes up, one will be grant a lvl. Then you go to the screen of the one you just granted the lvl to and accept the granted lvl. Keep track of the lvls you grant, so you know how many you have left to give.
