And, if you can, post about any confusion you've found on this thread: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...65205038&sid=1

You may not have to deal with the same issues as some of the others, but you should mention the amount of hoops you had to jump through thanks to the ambiguous time on the account admin page.

End of RAF checklist & when exactly does it end ?
    has some info

Your wose case scenario is if you started your RAF shortly after "midgnight gmt" and that you are say in hawaii or pdt (like me, so around 4pm) then your account page will show "Until 11/10" but it really means it stops at about 4pm 11/9 !

If on the referee you click details it shows when the account was created (though I can't remember in which timezone; I think that one is pacific time; which is nicely inconsistant) that will give you the time; but you need to substract 1h because of daylight savings

Basically I think blizz greatly dropped the ball by having a benefit ending abruptly without any clear notice; and because of server instability lately they should throw us a bone and add a few days after it stopped so you can grant levels... but it doesn't look like it's happening (too small number of ppl affected so far ?)

Well RAF is still working at 8:50 GMT on 11/9. Accounts were created at 6:06PM GMT, this leads me to believe I should have until tomorrow since i'm almost 3 hours past the time. Toons are 59 now and I just need to boost from 12 to 31.9 on the two grantees. I should be good to go to finish up even with a kara run shortly. Not knowing for sure really was a pain in the butt.

Hrm, Blizzard really should have a better mechanism for letting you know when this ends. I passed the account creation time by 3+ hours and it was still working and then I went to finish 59 to 60 and it was over. 1 level really isn't a big deal but They should have a timer or something for this. With 10 level 60's and 4 level 59's I did take decent advantage of the RAF though.

The CS team is going to get more and more complaints and questions about this until they fix it. The more vocal we are now the more likely we are to save other people from our headache.

That account creation time is all over the place too. Myself and someone else in the thread you linked both checked the times vs the email times and the timezone and creation time were different on the two accounts. They were NOT GMT that is for sure.

I agree with you on point two up there. I suggested that they email both accounts and send an in game mail to all toons on each account with exactly when the link will end. One week before it ends. Hmm maybe I should update my suggestion, i just though it would be great to send an email when the link is created with the exact end time as well.

My advice is to call billing and get a firm end date if you are running out of time and trying to squeeze as much as you can out of your RAF time.
