i ran fury from release all the way until BC came out...after playin in outland, i got tired of stoppin every few kills to heal, so i went to prot, and have never even thought about goin back. the changes they made help prot deal ALOT more dmg than it used to. so id say fury is a good way to go til at least 60, i havent played in outland with the new fury spread, so i can only recommend prot there.

    I am lvling a Warrior/Shaman combo ( lvl 35 atm )

The Warrior is dpsing with cleave and thunderclap, while the shaman heals or shocks/dps when need.
I had not one downtime, and i´m always pulling 2-4 mobs. Also Instances are working, just LF 3dd and the grp is rdy,
tell them, that they dont recieve a single heal, when they are pulling aggro and start.

    Warrior spec http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LZhxfZbI
    Shaman spechttp://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hZZxcxzoxo

Now i try to spec fury, maybe i switch to prot when i reach the outlands.

    I went Fury with a shaman healer/dps'er.

First thing's first... get good gear. upgrade at least once every 5 levels or you'll see your warrior's damage stagnate, even after learning improved ranks.
many of the advice here is related to level 50+ where you get some of the good stuff. I didnt get bloodthirst until level 40 i think, and that took a few hours to work into a combo as i still kept my old battlestance rotation half the time. get the glyph that reduces your rage cost to Cleave. then you'll have the choice between Cleave or Heroic Strike. Cleave 2 mobs, HS one mob. simple. but that's just me and you'll probably want to get glyphs for other things depending on your preference. anyway, good luck with the leveling.

one thing i find useful is to make two macros to switch stances for charge/intercept.
macro1: /cast [combat] berzerker stance; intercept
macro2: /cast [nocombat] battle stance; charge

thats cause the dmg of almost every ability the war has is increased by stats (mostly AP and block value). training new ranks primarily adds in additional effects (sometimes significant increases in dmg).

My stance is still the same, stay away from prot until youre at least 60 or better (all their best abilities dont come until the higher part of the tree). after youre 60, then id suggest prot to everyone. with the new changes theyve made, you can deal some significant dmg if you have the right gear and can still take a beating.

if you spec prot, be sure to pick up warbringer. lets you use charge anytime, in or out of battle, and regardless of stance. so no stance dancing to charge in. also grab the two glyphs for it (one minor, one major). increases range by 5 yds and reducing cooldown by 20% i believe. on that note, also pick up glyph of devastate. being able to stack 10 sunder armors on a mob is a huge advantage (almost 8k armor reduction after training the last rank of sunder armor).

Hmm, what kind of stats do u pick for prot @ lvl 60?
Sta/Def/block, or DPS stats like Str/Agi/ap etc?
