I get such whispers from time to time too. Two times I deliberately handled the victory to the horde. Another time I got about 10 horde guys execute every alliance guy I pointed at. I play alliance, so it was like having your worst enemy killing your "allies" on your command. Was just hilarious.

In EOTS, when people started whispering me I just capped the flag and delivered it to the enemy base. Just get the flag, carry it to enemy base and mount so you drop the flag and someone from the enemy faction gets it.

In WSG I just went to horde base and capped the flag so no one else from my faction could get it, then stayed at the horde base till hordes came with the alliance flag and I dropped it, so they could return it. Didn't die during the whole BG.

In AV I waved an horde group and started pointing at one of the alliance guys that was badmouthing in the /bg chat. After they killed me once and seing I didn't even defend, the next time they saw me they just followed me and started executing alliances on my /point command. On this BG the alliance didn't even manage to lower the horde reinforcements under 550. Hordes got AV perfection and I got almost 20 horde guys /thank me at the end of the BG. In my BG group horde usually gets steamrolled in AV, so practically all the horde raid got AV perfection.

Remember that you play for fun. If your own faction doesn't provide you fun, then have fun with the other faction

Never, ever say anything in chat, especially cursing or defending or whatever. You can't win an argument with retards.

I have a very simple system I follow. Anyone who badmouths me immediately gets reported AFK by every single one of my toons. They get the debuff (it only takes "3 reporters" to put the debuff on someone). Then they start screaming in raid "omg whos the <random curseword> who reported me AFK????".

I don't say anything. I just keep reporting them AFK every few minutes until the BG is over. I ignore any whispers. If they curse in bg chat, I report them with the GM tool - you almost always get a 3 hour ban for swearing in game.

Have any multiboxers ever found themselves reported and debuffed by an angry group in battlegrounds? I would think the more rabid anti-multiboxer folks would love to seize upon something like that to grief a multiboxer.

"Turn your profanity filter on" is not an acceptable excuse to swear. If you swear to or part of an insult, or found offensive, it is reportable. The profanity filter can be turned off so that you may use coarse language when chatting with friends, it is not there so you can swear at people and they only see $%&@.

Anything's reportable. They're just not likely to care about it unless it separately constitutes harassment.

We have major disadvantages in BG's. The worst of which is that the other players need to adjust their strats for us. I recently farmed a few hundred thousand honor on each of my guys and playing anything but AV was a gigantic pain. EOTS wasn't bad because you can guard a base and keep people off the flag by yourself, but AB was pretty horrible and WSG was a massive pain. I just wish Blizz would make a BG where killing the other team was the sole goal. That would fix most of our problems lol.

My best advice would be keep playing.. after a few weeks you will be shocked how many people know your toons names and you will see YEAH!!! the 5boxer is here its a win!!!!

My best tactic was running north, kill balinda, run back down and recap IBT and hold it... having 1 tower up would slow allies enough to get the team time in the north end

You know what im talking about. You join a BG and it's going south fast. No one is guarding or taking towers. You are #2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 in top kills and tops in healing.....


Then it starts..

Seeing this scenario 20 times in a row can be frustrating. It's worse in AB, as they all follow you around to "watch".

It makes me want to start AFKing x 5.


To be honest, I just dinged 70 recently..so my gear isn't that great.

I do my part in BGs, hell I do a lot more than most. I do have a problem with rogues, however. Even with thunderstorm...they can dismantle my guys in seconds.

been there done that....just stay with it for the gear. WOTLK you prolly can gear up much better with questing. Hardest part is WSG...just do your thing and hope it doesnt last too long...I usually just send my guys out and get killed then spend the time at the graveyard dead until I meet the limit then go back out and fight til I die again. that is if they turtle the game to get HP counts from your 5.

I always get the whisper saying "reported" I simply reply "scared." Damn near never results in any more conversation.

I get the occasional insult regarding my sexual orientation as well, I usually just reply with "OMG you caught me being gay on the internet, screenshots or it didn't happen."

I typically have quite a bit of fun with the hate tells, like a guy last night claiming to be an Electrical Engineer that attempted to tell me how to use the 3900USD I spend on 5 toons in a better manner. After about 2 secs I replied with that degree did nothing for you, I only pay once a month not once a week. Then he went on the defensive complaining about how I never make mistakes and whatnot, was mildly amusing then he ignored me saving me a spot in the ignore list, yay for self eliminating problem children.
