    I'm telling you straight up that I was boosting on a linked account, actually several linked accounts, up to tuesday night (when my RAF expired).

    I don't know where this "Cant boost with linked accounts" comes from.

    It's possible that it doesnt COUNT as a link, like you couldn't do Alt---link---70---link---alt, but it works fine as 70--link---alt---link-alt and as 70---link---alt---link---alt.

    If you boost with a linked 70 (for example vet acct to new B which is linked to new C) the toon that is grouped with the 70 and is also linked to it will not get triple xp. In the example I gave C gets triple, B does not, because B is linked to A and the kill is trivial to A).

    If you want to instance boost that's why people state the way they do.

    If you want to have your grouped kids tag mobs outside instances and your ungrouped L70 one shot it, I believe that still works ok.

    Thank you for being an idiot.

    As I mentioned in my post(s) above yours, I was boosting with 70-Linkednewbie-Linkednewbie and it worked fine in instances.

    This was up to Tuesday night (after the patch).

    If you have personal experience otherwise, perhaps we can discuss how things were set up in detail so that we can perhaps isolate the cause.

    If you don't have personal experience with it, and you are just blatantly spreading misinformation... You have been told otherwise and you are doing the forum, and all of its' members a great disservice.

    Rather than respond as you deserve I'll take the high road, thank you for the information. The WoW forums are elsewhere.

    Something has changed, as that has always been the situation previously, you can find the threads, they go back months stating it was the way I described.

    My main is not linked, so I can't test it and I don't much care, as it doesn't affect me.

    edit:The original RAF master thread here, where the setup I describe is tested and proven multiple times.

    Like I said, if it's changed since then, thank you for the information, it's easier to correct being wrong than it is being an ass.

    When you completely ignore previous information posted on the thread, particularly the post directly above yours, you might be a WOW Forums poster yourself. Enjoy your high road, it must be quite busy up there given my experience with the general WOW community.

    Nevertheless, I had no problem doing it recently or months ago.

    They had intended to change their stance - to make it such that bonus exp was not awarded in the event of the mob being trivial, but it never happened - and was always worded such that it was irrelevant as to whether it was linked or not.

    However, it is intended that the lower level characters should be getting triple experience if certain conditions apply. For example, the following group makeup:

    Level 70 on account 1
    who referred
    Level 35 on account 2
    who referred
    Level 35 on account 3

    Provided level 35 mobs are killed by this group, both level 35 characters should receive triple experience*. This is because account 3 is linked to account 2; should only account 1 and account 2 group up, no triple experience would be given. In a matter of speaking the second link will override the first link for account 2, who then becomes eligible for the bonus.

    * There is currently a known issue with this, but this is the intended functionality.

    Default I don't get it.

    I play on my main acc linked to RAF1 and RAF2, and it seems to work ?
    All three are now level 15, shall I re do or ?
    And one thing more I can't "Grant Level" to any toon or myself. =/

    Please note that RAF = Trials acc. And I am going to upgrade one of them.

    make CHAIN. I did not and now am missing some benefits.

    The main problem is that the "end" of the chain cant get any levels gifted to him as he referred no one.

    I have 2 ends when I should have just made one.

    Default I now only play at two chars at the time...

    Will the grant a level work if X (Main Acc) recruits A (Trial Acc)= ?
