You can no longer run around with starfire going off

My druid team is currently earing some rest XP at 64 but I think it will mostly be for PVE. My one attempt at a battleground was painful, mostly because i was 64 vs 70's but still wasnt pretty.

I was considering specing one feral, one restro and three balance and attempt to stealth run instances but not sure how well that will go.

Fear bomb can be rough but there are a number of solutions:

    1. Don't let them get near you to cast an AoE fear - use all the CC you have available

    2. Kill whomever can cast fear ASAP

    3. Make sure you can spread your team apart easily - losing control of half is better than all

    4. Always have a PvP trinket equipped if you are PvP flagged

    5. If you know a second fearbomb is incoming (and you are feral) use Berserk to get out of it and stay immune for a while

    6. Cast Starfire before you are feared - at least you'll be doing damage while running around

    7. If all else fails, make your leader a rogue (this is what I've done). The rogue can shutdown most fear bombs before they happen.
No offense, but this advice screams that you've never really PvPed before...

is the talent "earth and moon" stackable for each of your balance druids? if so that would be an increase of 70% damage to the target with a 5 balance druid team.

is the aura from moonkin and improved moonkin stackable also? if so that is a 25% crit chance, 15% spell haste, plus the 15% of spirit as spell damage. with 5 balance druids.

W/O actually having played a 5x druid team I can comfortably say that they don't stack. With the addition of party buffs now effecting raids that would be OP beyond measure.

It does not stack. Tried this last night when I ran 9 of my toons and one of my friends druids around HFP.

Considering I've PvP'd since beta in "classic wow" ... yeah, I guess I just tried to offer basic advice. Sorry I didn't spill my guts with five years worth of intense strategy... cause ya know, this game is suuuuuper complex.

    In fact

You'll never hear from me again cause I dont fucking like internet forums much anyways. People who share tend to get crapped on by jerks like yourself. So fuck off shit monkeys  you'll never get anymore "golden bits of wisdom" (lol) from this manic multiboxer.

Except maybe this last one. Don't assume anything, it only makes an ass out of you and me!

first, i think he might mean Starfall in #6? hard to do damage with starfire when you are feared, starfall does aoe dmg over time

second, i think they're all valid suggestions for dealing with a fear bomb. some may be basic, but what exactly is so wrong that in your mind makes you think he has never PvPed?

Better to avoid giving offense entirely, I think. It's not cool to meet a post of advice like that, especially when you're not even trying to contribute. These forums are still mostly respectful and pleasant, let's try to keep them that way.

just noticed this, i think you read the blue post wrong:

"Starfall is an unusual spell in that it isn't channeled and can even follow the druid around. So we are going to change it so that shifting cancels the spell. Having a druid run around in cat or travel form with Starfall raining down in an attempt to break stealth is not really what we had in mind for the spell."

I would take that to mean that you can still run around or whatever, but changing forms cancels it.

Or you could say something like, “I personally have tried/considered those things and didn’t have any success. In my experience I fouind that those ideas aren't practical as they might seem”. You know, in case you wanted to act like an adult.

    Honestly,

    I’m no multi-box PvP veteran myself but….

IMHO 5 druids will not be better than 5 shaman in the arena. However, I want to make a druid team myself. PvP arena is not my biggest priority but I can’t help but think you could get a decent if not high rating if you mitigate your weaknesses like SoundEyes says. (some of the following is a re-hash)

Fearbomb classes are Warrior, Priest, and Afflic Lock right?

-If you hit a priest hard in the beginning and force them to heal they might not be able to close with you.
-If you put some or all of your Force of Nature trees on a priest they might blow fear on that.
-With Typhoon times 5 could you keep a warrior at bay?
-Root/Cyclone can buy you some time too.
    -Keep the trinket handy
-Stay near a wall/corner to make regrouping easier
-And I’m not sure but it would seem that you could start the fight in cat form to put the other team on the defensive.
-Starting from stealth you might even have time to pre-set CC targets to keep people back after your opener.

With the dual-spec thing coming soon I can’t help but think you could run with 5x moonkin and switch to bear, tree, and 3 boomkin/cats as needed.

I wonder if you can stealth your party in to Wotlk heroics and clear bosses really fast!?!?
