Default Video grabbing software needed (fraps vs. camstudio vs. gamecam vs. ?)

I've used fraps for a bit and find that it's fairly heavy on my system, slowing my main pc down a bit (running 3 clients on main pc, 2 on secondary). Does anyone know if there's any recording software, that hogs fewer resources?

hrm, has blizzard not yet added in built-in video capture for PC? I'd have thought that would have been something that they'd have already put in for you guys since mac users got built in video capture months ago and it seems to be really resource friendly.

the only one that seemed to work the best for me was fraps when I was on a PC and I tried several but your right it is resource heavy I had to run it on a machine that only had one copy of wow running.

Xzin had a method posted for using vlc that I tried and it worked pretty well, basically your streaming to another computer and that machine is dumping to disk and what not.

Not sure if the post still exists.
